SDP Builders, Inc. is a general contracting company providing full scope delivery of construction services to owners, developers, institutions and tenants.

 

We typically contract with owners and architects using standard AIA or AGC Contract Documents.
 

We have operated as a licensed general contractor in several states, including:
Arkansas, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio. In addition we have also worked in Indiana and Illinois.
 

We self perform structural, technical, site, post tension and flat concrete work. We also self perform most finish trades as well as FF&E procurement and setup.

 

We are a Kentucky corporation organized by Stephen D. Prater in 1995. Stephen is the president and chief operating officer.

 

Stephen D. Prater has over fifteen years of constructing new commercial buildings, real estate developments and a wide array of tenant improvement projects. Steve’s professional experience also includes high-rise tenant fit up and renovation, private mixed-use offices, restaurants and custom residences. Steve’s projects now primarily consist of the construction and renovation of all types of hospitality projects with numerous franchises.
